Bunny Designs 

My grandmother loved sewing and collecting beautiful antique items in her home!  She helped to develop my love of making things and collecting things.  She would share stories about the items that she collected which helped me to learn the history and to learn about what people did before me which fascinated me!  At the same time she taught me to sew, to do needlework and to LOVE FABRIC!  My mother supported my love of sewing by buying me a new sewing machine when I was nine years old.  I loved getting to use fabric to make beautiful items!  As I grew older one of my most favorite hand crafts was quilting.  I love to quilt and being a retired elementary school principal I finally have some time to do it!  I decided to open Bunny Designs and Gifts on Etsy as a way to support my creative side!  Collecting antiques, crafting, picking out fabric and making beautiful things is where I find my joy!  My shop is just an extension of what I enjoy doing and hopefully others will find something that makes them happy or brings back a sweet memory!
